At Scoil na mBuachaillí, we love to celebrate the small steps that lead to big achievements! Each week, we proudly award our “Pen Man of the Week” title to pupils who have shown outstanding effort, care, and pride in their handwriting and presentation.

This special recognition highlights the importance of neat, clear, and confident writing — a skill that supports learning across all subjects. Whether it’s through beautifully formed letters, careful spacing, consistent punctuation, or simply showing noticeable improvement, our Pen Man of the Week demonstrates dedication, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing their best. These efforts set a wonderful example for classmates and encourage everyone to take pride in their work.

At the end of the school year, during our Annual Celebration Day, a special Pen Man of the Year Award is presented. This award honours the student who has consistently shown excellence, perseverance, and growth in their handwriting and presentation throughout the year — celebrating not only skill but also effort and determination.
