After great success at the Féile Fichille, three teams travelled to Bantry today to take part in the Comórtas Fichille—a team chess tournament where the top three teams are awarded medals after a series of rounds.
The day celebrates excellence in chess, sportsmanship, and teamwork, recognising those who performed strongly at the Féile.
At a recent event held at the Maritime Hotel in Bantry, SNB celebrated fantastic team success, bringing home:
- 🥇 1st place for the SNB Ants
- 🥉 3rd place for the SNB Bats
- 🎖️ 5th place for the SNB Cats
A special mention goes to Jack Rea, who won all six of his matches on the day.
