There was great excitement in Scoil na mBuachaillí this week as our Senior Infants pupils had the wonderful opportunity to explore some of the beautiful new books arriving as part of the Every Child A Reader initiative.
The boys were fascinated by the colourful illustrations, engaging stories and wide range of themes on offer. It was a joy to see such enthusiasm and curiosity as they browsed through the books, shared favourites with friends, and listened carefully during story time.
These moments are an important part of our goal to foster a joyful and inclusive culture of reading across the school, helping every child to develop a lifelong love of books from the very beginning of their school journey.
We look forward to seeing Senior Infants continue to enjoy these stories throughout the year, and to sharing more reading moments as the Every Child A Reader programme unfolds in Scoil na mBuachaillí.
